Camino bore: paper camino again/ 'Filed away' in Burgos

Ooh gosh! This is a rod for my own back. Doing a small sketch every day is quite hard work  rather like writing the original pilgrim journal - just when I want to go to bed, or eat somthing, I have to..... But I'm not displeased with this little design, which depicts the bed arrangement in the albergue at Burgos. (See you-tube in previous post). We rather felt to have been 'filed away' when we went to bed.

Doing this paper camino is the opposite of what David Hockney did when he painted those trees at Warter in E. Yorks,

where he did many canvasses, all separate, but in the end all coming together as one huge picture. He had to go to all kinds of lengths to get them to join up properly.

I don't know what will be next to any of these little pics when it is all unfolded, and will flatten it out at the end to see and photocopy it, then fold it up again. It's rather like the camino, it puts one thing against another in an unpredictable way and you never know what's going to happen. It's very unpredictable, and still is even now, a year on.
